#56: Fakers

People at the Academy are so fake. Seriously. I know we are a really preppy school but it has just gotten bad. It is really sad though, because we all act like we are close and everything but, at least the people in my grade, we know nothing about each other. We have been going to school with each other for 12 years. Same people, same faces, some new people thrown in here and there, but we don't know anything about each other. You would think that if you spent 9 and a half months with the same people, year after year, you would make an effort to at least further understand them or something. The environment is just so…sterile. I'm not saying they are bad people (well, most of them aren't anyway), its just that it's a bad atmosphere. It's not that I want everyone knowing my business though, I am just saying it feels different than what a small school fell should be. I guess we are trying to act like a bigger school than we are. At schools like Leesville there classes are a lot bigger than the ones at NRCA so it is understandable that they won't know anything about someone in their grade, but at the Academy (or is it Nerca?) we don't know anything about anyone.
